Having just concluded the 2017 - 2018 winter season, Whitetail Resort in Pennsylvania, US, has begun implementing capital improvements in preparation for the 2018 - 2019 winter season.
Over the next few months more than US$1.6 million will be spent on projects, the resort said.
16 fan guns on the Limelight trail are to be replaced with new high output TechnoAlpin fan guns in order to provide increased coverage and better reliability for the snow making system that covers this trail.
The resort is also permanently adding a new Prinoth Winchcat Groomer to its fleet of snowgroomers. This tool will be deployed on steeper terrain such as the Bold Decision, Drop In, and Exhibition trails.
“As part of our ongoing commitment to our guests, we’re proud to be able to continue our resort upgrades, that will in turn, better each “on snow” experience.” said Whitetail Resort President and General Manager, Don MacAskill.
