A statement on the company’s website said that the contracts cover installation of new solutions and the extension of existing automated, customised snowmaking systems.
In France, MND was chosen to supply a number of French ski resorts, including Vars and Les Orres (HautesAlpes), Valmeinier (Savoie), Les Grands Montets - Chamonix and Les Carroz (Haute-Savoie) and Saint Jean Monclar (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence).
The company has also been contracted to provide technology to five ski resorts in Japan, while in China it will be responsible for providing services to several resorts, including extending the Wanlong resort that will be at the centre of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics complex.
All work related to the contracts is expected to be completed in the autumn of this year.
