Sufag will provide the FIS snowmakers to strengthen, if necessary, the snow on the ski slopes and thus ensure the smooth running of competitions.
Among the snowmakers made available to the FIS, Sufag will supply its new Makalu model, which was unveiled 3 weeks ago at Interalpin in Innsbruck, Austria.
Sarah Lewis, Secretary General of the FIS said: "The MND and Sufag groups are historical FIS partners and are actively involved in the development of ski racing as well as in general. It is essential for the federation and all stakeholders to have the leading industrial players on our side and we look forward to the renewal of this partnership, which aims at new horizons."
Vincent Douillet, CEO of Sufag and member of the Executive Committee of the MND Group, said: "Our Sufag brand is the official official partner of the FIS. We are delighted to renew our commitment to international bodies to ensure the smooth running of alpine ski competitions around the world. This is a great showcase for the promotion of skiing and we are proud to contribute. This partnership is an extension of the strong relationship that we have for the last 8 years with the FIS through various programmes such as "Bring Children to the Snow", which we support to promote winter sports to younger generations by helping children to ski all over the world."
