PistenBully unveiled the world’s first electrically driven snow groomer and also celebrated its 50th birthday last week at INTERALPIN 2019, the international trade fair for alpine technologies.
The PistenBully 100 E generates no emissions and its battery has an energy capacity of 126 kWh with a rated voltage of 400V. The battery is charged at 75% after five hours, and completely after six and a half hours.
The German company also showcased its newly-updated SNOWsat operations management software at the show.

The Colorado resort will improve its existing snowmaking system and expand snowmaking on the upper-mountain, resulting in 192 acres of new and enhanced snowmaking infrastructure for the 2019 - 2020 winter season.
