Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Wyoming, US, has announced that it will be installing a new quad lift over the summer, to replace the Eagle's Rest lift that was removed in 2016.

The lift of the same name – to be manufactured by Skytrac Lifts – is due to open in November this year and will provide improved access to advanced-beginner terrain.

The resort, which is celebrating a record 715 100 skier visits for the 2018 – 2019 winter season, is also intending to extend its snowmaking system and add Via Ferrata routes.

The Aerial Tram will open for the summer season on 18 May, while on 8 June, the Bridger Gondola will begin operating throughout the day for sightseeing, hiking and dining options at Off Piste Market. The Via Ferrata will open in mid-June dependent on snow conditions.
