According to Christoph Grob, Head of Sales and Marketing at CWA Constructions, the company has “consistently further developed the OMEGA V while preserving its unmistakeable identity.” The OMEGA cabin was first introduced in 1983, and has been manufactured in its various generations over 50 000 times.

Speaking at the launch on October 9, Raimund Baumgartner, CEO of CWA Constructions, said that the OMEGA V is “still a style icon of the ropeway world.”

Thomas Pichler, CEO of Doppelmayr Seilbahnen GmbH, commented: “The OMEGA V seamlessly integrates with the design language of the D-Line. The new cabin uncompromisingly pursues the requirements and characteristics of the next ropeway generation.”

Manufactured out of lightweight aluminium, the cabin has night lighting, individual seating, a sound-absorbing ceiling and doors that open to a width of 900 mm; electromechanical doors can also be fitted.

Ski racks have been fitted to the exterior of the door along with a bike rack inside.

CWA has created a configurator which offers interior and exterior views of the cabin and allows users to view its range of design specifications.
